Seen a couple last year that were sick with a fuzzy grey coat ready to die. ODFW doesn’t say much 30 years of catch and release has come to this what a disgrace of one of the best steelhead rivers anywhere.

Approximately 30%-50% of the fish are hatchery but of native origin, the others on the Wilson are from native fish. The program is a proven success.
