WebINTRODUCTION. The differential for new T-wave inversions (TWI) includes myocardial ischemia, ventricular overload syndromes (i.e., strain), Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, myopericarditis, and cerebrovascular injury. 1 Here we present a case of deep, symmetric TWI induced by a phenomenon known as cardiac memory. Cardiac memory is … WebCorrespondence: Janek Senaratne, Tel +1 (780) 463-2184, Fax +1 (780) 450-8359, Email [email protected]. Abstract: Bidirectional ventricular tachycardia (BiVT) is a rare form of ventricular tachycardia that manifests on surface electrocardiogram by dual QRS morphologies alternating on a beat-to-beat basis. WebNonspecific T-wave inversions occur commonly in surgical patients and are clinically benign. 1 In contrast, giant negative T waves occur in specific conditions such as left main or equivalent myocardial ischemia and apical hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. 2 Regardless of the degree of T-wave inversion, concomitant presence of chest pain, dyspnea, and ST … WebThe T wave represents ventricular repolarization. T waves are normally positive, but negative T waves are normal findings in leads aVR and V1 (and in young people, in V 2). The causes of pathologic T-wave inversion include myocardial ischemia and infarction, ventricular strain, and treatment with digoxin. Following a myocardial infarction, T ...

WebI don’t think the large downward wave is a qrs, if that’s what you are thinking. What I see is a rS wave, so going left to right following the isoelectric line is a negative p wave, followed by no q wave, then the r wave (the small positive wave). The S wave is the large downward wave and then finally the t wave. Probably looking at lead V1.
